WWDA
“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” Henry Ford
Back in 1996, the leaders of Ware and Pierce Counties had a positive vision for growth and development in our communities. That positive vision has and does continue to be the goal of the Waycross-Ware County Development Authority’s Board of Directors. WWDA has been very successful in the recent recruitment of new industries that has proven to State officials that we are ready, willing and able to market this community to the world for future growth and expansion.
We commend the Board of Commissioners from Ware and Pierce County, as well as the City Commissions from Waycross and Blackshear for having the vision to create new job opportunities for our communities. We continue to “Grow our Communities, One Job at the Time.”
